YOUTH
My approach with youth is holistically based. I combine Art; Mindfulness, enhanced with Meditation, Crystals and Animal Guides; Reiki and Yoga. The goal is to help children discover their inner strengths and creative gifts. I work with children between the ages of 5 to 15 years old in individual or group sessions.
CREATIVE ARTS
Creating art and fostering imagination is a way for children to communicate their inner emotions, thoughts and understanding of the world. Through art and play children are able to increase their self-expression, strengthen peer and familial relationships and understand the areas in life that are challenging. Parents are able to witness their child’s creative process and discover and explore the inner world that can be difficult to reach with words.

MINDFULNESS / YOGA
Mindfulness is the practice of focusing awareness on the present moment while acknowledging and accepting feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. Practices I use include: breath awareness, meditation, relaxation techniques and visualization work using crystals and animal guides.
Yoga is the practice of accessing and integrating all aspects of our true nature-mind, body, and spirit-in the pursuit of inner harmony. I use a simple and fun way of incorporating yoga poses to support mind/body awareness.

REIKI
Reiki for children is a safe and non invasive healing method that helps the body shift from fight-or-flight anxiety mode into rest and digest mode. It enhances the child’s body’s own self-healing response by releasing deep-seated tensions, aiding in detoxification, and balancing mental and emotional states. I use energized crystals to enhance the healing process and cleanse negative energy.
